ABOUT THE STUDIO
The Actors Workout is a professional acting studio based in Ultimo, Sydney, founded by award-winning actor, filmmaker, and coach Matt Levett.
We offer a clear training pathway for actors — from foundational courses through to ongoing classes, industry workshops, and advanced screen-based programs. Alongside weekly training, we provide private coaching and casting director workshops, all designed to support actors working at a professional level.
Our approach is grounded in truthful, connected performance, with a strong focus on screen acting and professional practice. Training is led by experienced, working industry professionals, creating a focused environment where actors are challenged, supported, and held to a high standard.
At the centre of the studio is consistency — giving actors the space to train regularly, refine their process, and build work that holds up on screen. This extends into our One-Year Screen Acting Program, a part-time pathway combining ongoing training, performance development, and the creation of cinematic showreel scenes.
Whether you’re preparing for auditions or ready to take your work to the next level, The Actors Workout provides clear direction, practical tools, and real industry insight.
