Over six weeks, actors work across three of the screen’s most demanding genres: procedural, period, and sci‑fi. The aim is to explore the nuances of each and create grounded, truthful, and electric performances.

Led by Olivia Stambouliah, the masterclass demystifies tone and timing so you can drop straight into the world of the show, and makes technical dialogue and physicality flow effortlessly on camera.

Train with Olivia Stambouliah

Olivia Stambouliah is an actor and educator who has worked across film, television, and theatre for more than twenty years, the last decade based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Dzaghig in Michael Bay’s action thriller Ambulance, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, and for her work in AMC’s The Walking Dead.

Her screen credits span Soul Mates, Packed to the Rafters, Ben Elton Live from Planet Earth, My Place, and the SXSW‑selected comedy Golden Arm, alongside an extensive body of theatre with the Sydney Theatre Company (Arms and the Man), Griffin Theatre Company (The Turquoise Elephant), and Ensemble Theatre (Frankenstein).

Olivia joined the acting faculty at AMDA, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood, in 2021, and works as an actor, director, writer, and producer. She loves educating and directing artists honing their craft.

Who Is This Masterclass For?

This course is designed for actors with prior training or on‑set experience who want to work confidently across different screen genres.

It’s best suited to actors ready to tackle technical dialogue, heightened worlds, and shifting tone, and to keep their work grounded and truthful in any setting. This is a focused professional room for actors ready to challenge themselves through rigorous scene work and strong direction.

If you’re completely new to acting, this may not be the right starting point.

Strictly Limited to 12 Actors

The class is intentionally kept small to ensure every actor receives meaningful feedback, real time on the floor, and space to do deeper work.

Places are offered via application and kept deliberately small.
